What are the rates for the conference spaces in the hotel?

Are there any hidden charges?

All our rates are inclusive of VAT and we do not charge a service fee.

What is your policy for providing the final number of attendees, booking amendments and cancellations?

Our policy for final numbers, amendments and cancellations is 48 hours prior to your event. After this time, we must charge the amount initally stated. 

Is there free parking at the hotel?

Yes, we have over 250 free parking spaces on the hotel grounds. 

How many conference spaces are in your hotel?

We have 5 large spacious suites on the ground floor and 8 boardrooms on the first floor.

What do each of the conference spaces offer, how are they different?

All our conference spaces are equipped with audio-visual equipment, however, the specific equipment included varies depending between the spaces. 

All our boardrooms are equipped with 55-inch TVs, air conditioning and phase power mode lighting. All boardrooms have bottled still and sparkling water, conference pads and pens available at no extra charge.

Our three largest ground floor suites (Carysfort, Merrion and Shelbourne Suites) are equipped with projectors, screens, adjustable RGB LED lighting, full bar facilities, surround sound systems and ample natural daylight. 

Our Priory and Sandyford Suites, both situated on the ground floor also, are equipped with 75-inch TVs, surround sound systems and customisable RGB LED lighting 

Additional equipment available upon request include: Flipcharts, markers, stage, podium and microphones. 

Can the hotel facilitate video conferences?

Video conferencing is possible, however, we do not provide any laptop/computer equipment (i.e. laptops, laptop microphones, webcams etc.). We can provide screens/projectors/TVs, HDMI cables and in room audio equipment (i.e. microphones and speakers). There is also free high speed WiFi throughout the hotel.

What catering options are available at Talbot Hotel Stillorgan?

We have various catering options available to our clients depending on their requirements and event type.

For those interested in larger sit down meals, we provide banquet lunch and dinner menus, buffet lunch and dinner menus, restaurant set menus, finger food menus, canape menus and more. 

For those interested in meetings or conferences, our catering and refreshments menu may be of interest. 

All menus can be provided by our team upon request. 

How long does food service for a bandquet dinner take?

The duration of dinner service will vary depending on whether it’s a 2-course or 3-course meal and dish selections. A typical 3-course banquet meal has a service time of around 90 minutes. 

Can you cater for specific dietary requirements?

Yes, our chefs can cater for any dietary requirements your attendees may have. We would ask that you let us know what requirements the group may have during the booking stage.

Can you provide full bar facilities?

Three of our larger spaces come with full private bar facilities. These include The Shelbourne Suite, The Carysfort Suite and The Merrion Suite. We provide table service in those suites that do not contain a bar. 

May we supply our own wine & what is the cost per bottle?

Yes, you may do so. Corkage charge of €15 per bottle would apply. 

We also have a full wine list which we can provide you via email.
