Airfield Estate is Dublins only working sustainable farm & gardens! It is a perfect example of an environmentally sustainable agriculture and horticulture visitor attraction. Established in 1830 it is a charitable organisation, who's mission is to connect visitors to the land and the food it produces.

The 38-acre working farm offers a harmonious blend of nature, agriculture, horticulture and heritage. Airfield Estate provides a hands-on experience like no other! Engage in activities such as jersey cow milking, chicken egg collection, and witness captivating sheepdog demonstrations, all while gaining insights into traditional farming practices. The estate is home to a number of farm animals like jersey cows, jacob sheep, red hens, chickens, pigs, donkeys and goats.

Beyond its agricultural pursuits, Airfield Estate boasts a hertitage tour, a vintage car collection, ornamental gardens, and the opportunity to participate in cooking demonstrations. The restaurant at Airfield operates on a "farm-to-fork" incentive, ensuring that patrons enjoy the freshest, locally sourced ingredients in their culinary creations. They are constantly refreshing the menus based on what is in season and what is available from their farm.
