What are the check-in/check-out times?

Rooms are available from 15:00h daily. If you wish to check in at an earlier time please let us know and we will try are best to accommodate this. Check-out is at 12:00h. Late check-outs are available at an additional cost.

How do I request an early check-in time?

If we are asked for early check-in it cannot be guaranteed as check out time is 12 noon. We will note the guest request on their booking and if possible, on the day of arrival we will check them in. You can guarantee an early check in by pre booking the room from the night before at the best available price.

What happens if I arrive early to check-in?

If we have a room, we may be able to check the guest in or alternatively if no rooms are available, we can store the guest luggage and they can come back later to check in.

What are room rates at Talbot Hotel Stillorgan?

Do you accept cash payments?

Cash payments are welcome at the Talbot Hotel Stillorgan. If you choose to pay in cash upon arrival, a security deposit in the form of a cash amount of €50 per night or a pre-authorisation on a credit or debit card will be requested, along with photo ID. Acceptable identifications include passport or driving licence.

Do room rates include breakfast?

Talbot Hotel Stillorgan offers both Bed and Breakfast rates and room-only rates. Room-only rates do not include breakfast.

What public transport is nearby?

Public transport is easily accessible, with several bus and train stops within walking distance of the hotel. If you walk across the road, you can get either buses 46A, 155 or 145. The S6 bus stops on Mount Merrion Avenue and goes towards The Square in Tallaght. Alternatively, the S6 will also bring you to Blackrock Dart Sation if taken from the stop on the other side of the road. The nearest train station is in Blackrock, which is 10–12 minute walk from the hotel.

Leap Card is a contactless smart card for automated fare collection on public transport across Ireland. The TFI 90 Minute fare now applies to journeys made on Dublin Bus, Luas and most DART, commuter rail (zones 1 to 4 in the Short Hop Zone) and Go-Ahead Ireland city services in Dublin, using leap card, and is €2 adult, €0.65 child. Leap Card’s can be purchased from most retailers, the closest place to the hotel is Circle-K across the road. Leap Cards can be topped up easily once purchased via the mobile app.

How far away is Dublin city centre?

Dublin city centre is 5k from Talbot Hotel Stillorgan. The 46A, 145 and 155 bus routes connect our guests to the city centre.

Do you have private parking?

Yes, Talbot Hotel Stillorgan has its own private secure car park which can facilitate over 300 cars. This facility is free of charge for customers of the hotel.

How do I get from the airport to Talbot Hotel Stillorgan?

Taxis can be ordered through the reception desk, but we recommend that you have a taxi app such as Free Now, Bolt or Uber. You can contact your driver directly through the app easily. A taxi to the airport, will take approx.. 35 minutes. However, journey length with depend on traffic conditions at time of travel.

Yes, we have high speed internet access throughout the hotel. We offer free internet which you can log into.

Yes, travel adaptors can be purchased from the vending machines on the first and second floor.

What bedroom facilities are provided?

We have various room types with appropriate bed sizes. All bedrooms are ensuite with either a bath, shower or walk-in shower. We also provide complimentary bottled water, toiletries, WiFi, iron and board, in room safe or secure safe access at reception, cable TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and writing desk.

Do you have wheelchair accessible bedrooms?

Yes, we have a number of specially designed bedrooms to accommodate those with limited mobility.

What is your Children’s Policy?

Children are more than welcome at Talbot Hotel Stillorgan. All children under 12 stay for FREE when using existing beds. The maximum number of cribs/cots in a room is 1. Any type of extra bed is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.

Do you cater for pets?

Talbot Hotel Stillorgan operates a no animal policy, except for guide/service animals.
