Check-in is from 3:00 PM daily. Check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon). If you’d like an early check-in or late check-out, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate the request. Additional charges will apply for late check-outs.

Can I request an early check-in time?

Yes, you can request an early check-in, but it's subject to availability as check-out is at 12:00 PM. To guarantee early access, you may book the room from the night before at our best available rate.

What happens if I arrive early to check-in?

Public transport is easily accessible, with several bus and train stops within walking distance of the hotel.

  • The E1 or E2 buses into the City Centre. Both the E1 and E2 buses run 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
  • The S6 bus stops on Mount Merrion Avenue and goes towards The Square in Tallaght. Alternatively, the S6 will also bring you to Blackrock Dart Sation if taken from the stop on the other side of the road.
  • The nearest train station is in Blackrock, which is 10–12 minute walk from the hotel.

Leap Card is a contactless smart card for automated fare collection on public transport across Ireland. The TFI 90 Minute fare now applies to journeys made on Dublin Bus, Luas and most DART, commuter rail (zones 1 to 4 in the Short Hop Zone) and Go-Ahead Ireland city services in Dublin, using leap card, and is €2 adult, €0.65 child. Leap Card’s can be purchased from most retailers, the closest place to the hotel is Circle-K across the road. Leap Cards can be topped up easily once purchased via the mobile app.

How do I get to and from Heuston Station?

Travelling to the hotel from Heuston Station: Take the number 4 bus from Heuston Station to Nassau Street, there you can switch to an E1 or E2 bus to Talbot Hotel Stillorgan. 

Travelling to Heuston Station from Talbot Hotel Stillorgan: Take the E1 or E2 bus to Westmoreland Street, then switch to a number 4 bus on Aston Quay (Stop 325) which takes you to Heuston Sation. 

Can I book a taxi from the hotel?

Yes. Taxis can be booked at reception, or via apps like Free Now, Bolt, or Uber. Travel time to the airport is about 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

How do I get to and from Dundrum Town Centre?

To Dundrum Town Centre: Take the L25 from Lower Kilmacud Road/Stillorgan Junction (Stop 4637) which is approximately a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

From Dundrum Town Centre: Take the L25 bus from Dundrum Town Centre Stop 7716 towards Dun Laoghaire and get off att the “Stillorgan Park” stop on the N11/Stillorgan Road (Stop 4571). The hotel is a 15-minute walk from there.

What is your Children’s Policy?

Children are more than welcome at Talbot Hotel Stillorgan. All children under 12 stay for FREE when using existing beds. The maximum number of cribs/cots in a room is 1. Any type of extra bed is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.
